Missions
Ministries available through Faith Church
Scott and Elina T. and their 2 little children work with Wycliffe Bible Translators. They are serving in Southeast Asia, with an unreached people group. Their ministry is to first learn the language and then begin to share Bible stories.
Our Church has also developed a relationship with Haiti. For many years we have been sending a team of people to minister in what is known as the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. The Haiti Mission Trip this year will be February 18-25th, 2012, If interested please see Jim Switzer or Jacob Champion.
Check out our bulletin the the fellowship for items to donate.
Check your closets, ask your neighbors and friends...we are looking for men's dress ties
and baseball hats(appropriate logos - beer ads). We are also looking for embroidery thread.
Throughout the year, Faith Church participates in all sorts of mission projects. "Shoes and pop cans for Haiti", Operation Christmas Child , Emma Norton services, Simpson Shelter, Salvation Army coats, Feed My Starving Children.
We truly believe that our Faith must be more than just words. Our Faith needs to be lived and practiced daily. We have been called to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and to build up His Kingdom by loving our neighbors, especially the "least of these".
